ABSTRACT Nonlinear differential equations play a fundamental role in modeling complex physical phenomena across solid‐state physics, hydrodynamics, plasma physics, nonlinear optics, and biological systems. This study focuses on the Shynaray II‐A equation, a relatively less‐explored parametric nonlinear partial differential equation that describes ...

Numerical Investigation of a Diffusive SIR Model: Focus on Positivity Preservation
ABSTRACT In this paper, we consider a system of semilinear partial differential equations (PDEs) representing a spatially extended SIR epidemic model. A brief analytical investigation of the well‐posedness and positivity of the solutions is provided in the appendix, while the main focus is on the numerical treatment of the model.

ABSTRACT Modern engineering systems require advanced uncertainty‐aware model updating methods that address parameter correlations beyond conventional interval analysis. This paper proposes a novel framework integrating Riemannian manifold theory with Gaussian Process Regression (GPR) for systems governed by Symmetric Positive‐Definite (SPD) matrix ...

This study presents improvements to the non‐hydrostatic version of the European Centre for Medium‐Range Weather Forecasts (ECMWF) Integrated Forecasting System (IFS), enabling stable global simulations at 1.4‐km resolution. A systematic comparison with the hydrostatic version at resolutions from 9 to 1.4 km shows that non‐hydrostatic effects emerge in ...

Compartmentalisation in cAMP signalling: A phase separation perspective
Cells rely on precise spatiotemporal control of signalling pathways to ensure functional specificity. The compartmentalisation of cyclic AMP (cAMP) and protein kinase A (PKA) signalling enables distinct cellular responses within a crowded cytoplasmic space.

On Transformations of the Rabelo Equations
We study four distinct second-order nonlinear equations of Rabelo which describe pseudospherical surfaces. By transforming these equations to the constant-characteristic form we relate them to some well-studied integrable equations.

A role for epithelium‐derived 6‐nitrodopamine on human ureter contractility
Abstract Background and Purpose To investigate the basal release of 6‐nitrodopamine (6‐ND) from human isolated ureter and the role of this novel catecholamine in the ureter contractility. Experimental Approach Ureters from 67 brain‐dead organ donors (40 males and 27 females) were used during kidney transplantation procedures.

Study of nonlinear PDE with power nonlinearities
Let \( u' + Au = h(u,t) + f(x,t) \) with the initial condition \( u(x,0) = u_0(x) \), where \( u \in H \), \( u' := u_t := \frac{du}{dt} \), and \( H \) is a Hilbert space. The nonlinear term satisfies the estimate \( \|h(u,t)\| \le a\|u\|^p (1+t)^{-b} \), and the operator \( A \) satisfies the coercivity condition \( (Au,u) \ge \gamma(t)(u,u ...

Monetary Policy and Wealth Effects: The Role of Risk and Heterogeneity
ABSTRACT We study the role of asset revaluation in the monetary transmission mechanism. We build an analytical heterogeneous‐agents model with two main ingredients: (i) rare disasters and (ii) heterogeneous beliefs. The model captures time‐varying risk premia and precautionary savings in a setting that nests the textbook New Keynesian model.
