A Nonlinear Boundary Problem [PDF]
A nonlinear Hilbert problem of power type is solved in closed form by representing a sectionally holomorphic function by means of an integral with power kernel. This technique transforms the problem to one of solving an integral equation of the generalized Abel type.

Nonlinear eigenvalue problems for higher order Lidstone boundary value problems
In this paper, we consider the Lidstone boundary value problem $y^{(2m)}(t) = \lambda a(t)f(y(t), \dots, y^{(2j)}(t), \dots y^{(2(m-1))}(t), 0 < t < 1, y^{(2i)}(0) = 0 = y^{(2i)}(1), i = 0, ..., m - 1$, where $(-1)^m f > 0$ and $a$ is nonnegative. Growth

Residual magnetization induces pronounced mechanical anisotropy in ultra‐soft magnetorheological elastomers, shaping deformation and actuation even without external magnetic fields. This study introduces a computational‐experimental framework integrating magneto‐mechanical coupling into topology optimization for designing soft magnetic actuators with ...

Jacobian matrix: a bridge between linear and nonlinear polynomial-only problems
By using the Hadamard matrix product concept, this paper introduces two generalized matrix formulation forms of numerical analogue of nonlinear differential operators. The SJT matrix-vector product approach is found to be a simple, efficient and accurate

Global bifurcation for nonlinear Dirac problems
In this paper we consider the nonlinear eigenvalue problems for the one-dimensional Dirac equation. To exploit oscillatory properties of the components of the eigenvector-functions of linear one-dimensional Dirac system an appropriate family of sets is ...
