Discovery and Targeted Proteomic Studies Reveal Striatal Markers Validated for Huntington's Disease
ABSTRACT Objective Clinical trials for Huntington's disease (HD) enrolling persons before clinical motor diagnosis (CMD) lack validated biomarkers. This study aimed to conduct an unbiased discovery analysis and a targeted examination of proteomic biomarkers scrutinized by clinical validation. Methods Cerebrospinal fluid was obtained from PREDICT‐HD and

Gamma-ray Vortex Burst in Nonlinear Thomson Scattering with Refocusing Spiral Plasma Mirror
The gamma-ray vortex burst in the nonlinear Thomson scattering when the laser wakefield accelerated electron bunch collides with an ultra-intense Laguerre–Gaussian laser that was reflected from the refocusing spiral plasma mirror.

Instability and dynamics of two nonlinearly coupled laser beams in a plasma [PDF]
We investigate the nonlinear interaction between two laser beams in a plasma in the weakly nonlinear and relativistic regime. The evolution of the laser beams is governed by two nonlinear Schroedinger equations that are coupled with the slow plasma ...

Nonlinear Brightness Optimization in Compton Scattering
In Compton scattering light sources, a laser pulse is scattered by a relativistic electron beam to generate tunable x and gamma rays. Because of the inhomogeneous nature of the incident radiation, the relativistic Lorentz boost of the electrons is modulated by the ponderomotive force during the interaction, leading to intrinsic spectral broadening and ...

Theoretical prediction of the scattering of spherical bubble clusters under ultrasonic excitation
Due to the nonlinear vibration of ultrasound contrast agent bubbles, a nonlinear scattered sound field will be generated when bubbles are driven by ultrasound. A bubble cluster consists of numerous bubbles gathering in a spherical space.
