Extrapolation Method for Non-Linear Weakly Singular Volterra Integral Equation with Time Delay

open access: yesMathematics, 2021
This paper proposes an extrapolation method to solve a class of non-linear weakly singular kernel Volterra integral equations with vanishing delay. After the existence and uniqueness of the solution to the original equation are proved, we combine an ...

Optical solitons in birefringent fibers with quadratic-cubic nonlinearity using three integration architectures

open access: yesAIP Advances, 2021
In this work, the nonlinear Schrödinger’s equation is studied for birefringent fibers incorporating four-wave mixing. The improved tanϕ(ξ)2-expansion, first integral, and G′G2-expansion methods are used to extract a novel class of optical solitons in the

Nonlinear integral equations singular in the dependent variable

open access: yesApplied Mathematics Letters, 2007
This paper concerns the existence of nonnegative solutions to the singular integral equation \(y(t)=\int^1_0 k(t,s)[G(s,y(s))+F(s,y(s))]ds\) \((t\in [0,1])\), where \(G\in C([0,1]\times (0,\infty),[0,\infty))\), \(F\in C([0,1]\times [0,\infty),[0,\infty))\) so \(G\) may be singular at \(y=0\).

Flows of singular vector fields and applications to fluid and kinetic equations [PDF]

open access: yes, 2015
Several physical phenomena arising in fluid dynamics and kinetic equations can be modeled by nonlinear transport PDE. Such quantities are the vorticity of a fluid, or the density of a collection of particles advected by a velocity field which is highly ...

Bounded, asymptotically stable, and L^{1} solutions of Caputo fractional differential equations [PDF]

open access: yesOpuscula Mathematica, 2015
The existence of bounded solutions, asymptotically stable solutions, and \(L^1\) solutions of a Caputo fractional differential equation has been studied in this paper.

On the Solution of Quadratic Nonlinear Integral Equation with Different Singular Kernels [PDF]

open access: yesMathematical Problems in Engineering, 2020
All the previous authors discussed the quadratic equation only with continuous kernels by different methods. In this paper, we introduce a mixed nonlinear quadratic integral equation (MQNLIE) with singular kernel in a logarithmic form and Carleman type. An existence and uniqueness of MQNLIE are discussed.
