VARIATION IN MARGINAL RESPONSE TO NITROGEN FERTILIZER BETWEEN LOCATIONS [PDF]
A logistic growth equation with time and location varying parameters was used to model corn response to applied nitrogen. A nonlinear dummy-variable regression model provided a parsimonious representation of site and time effects on parameter values. The

Memristive Motion‐Streak Neuron for Spatiotemporal Multiple Object Detection
This work proposes motion‐streak neuron hardware using amorphous In–Ga–Zn–O optoelectronic memristors and dynamic memristors for spatiotemporal multiple‐object detection. The motion streak neuron array processes optical and electrical stimuli, allowing speed‐dependent filament relaxation to encode motion trajectories.

Applied here for the first time to a 2D material, high‐resolution synchrotron x‐ray Fourier transform holography directly images topological spin textures in Fe3GeTe2. Combined with atomistic tight‐binding simulations including itinerant electrons and Rashba spin‐orbit coupling, the approach reveals labyrinth, skyrmion, and mixed phases, and uncovers ...

Dual‐State Programmable Oxide Transistor for Time‐Based Cryptography
A DUPOT enables independently tunable Vth and Isat depending on gate bias polarity, producing three‐dimensional dynamical behavior within a transfer characteristic. This behavior originates from charge trapping and oxygen‐ion migration in the HfO2 layer.

Epitaxially Integrated Electro‐Optic KNbO3 Thin Films on Silicon
We demonstrate the first epitaxial integration of electro‐optic KNbO3 thin films on silicon using suboxide molecular‐beam epitaxy. Combining adsorption‐controlled molecular‐beam epitaxy, advanced characterization, and phase‐field modeling, we demonstrate phase‐pure crystalline films mirroring bulk crystals with robust Pockels response, enabling future ...

Influence of parametric nonlinear soil models on site response predictions
In the absence of site-specific laboratory test data, a variety of dynamic soil models can be employed in ground response analysis (GRA) to represent both the shear modulus degradation and the soil damping observed during cyclic shear stress loadings ...

Self‐invalidating multilayer physical unclonable functions (PUFs) integrate fingerprint‐like metal nanopattern bilayers from block copolymer templates with highly reactive reduced graphene oxide (rGO) interlayers. This tamper‐responsive architecture blocks all unauthorized physical and chemical replication attempts while autonomously deactivating ...

Biohybrid Crawling Robot With Spiral‐Spring Backbone and Inclined Legs for Enhanced Locomotion
We present a biohybrid crawling robot integrating a muscle ring with a flexible skeleton combining two complementary structural elements. The spiral‐spring backbone enables large‐amplitude bending without compromising axial stability, while outward‐inclined legs with unequal front–rear lengths effectively convert deformation into directional strides ...
