Tunable Sound Absorption via Evanescent‐Wave Coupling in Asymmetric Bilayer Metasurfaces
Tunable sound absorption is realized through a bilayer metasurface system governed by evanescent‐wave coupling. This work demonstrates that such evanescent‐wave coupling provides a controllable scattering channel that destructively interferes with the specular reflection.

Nonlinear $q$-fractional differential equations with nonlocal and sub-strip type boundary conditions
This paper is concerned with new boundary value problems of nonlinear $q$-fractional differential equations with nonlocal and sub-strip type boundary conditions. Our results are new in the present setting and rely on the contraction mapping principle and

Resonance Measurement of Nonlocal Spin Torque in a Three-Terminal Magnetic Device
A pure spin current generated within a nonlocal spin valve can exert a spin transfer torque on a nanomagnet. This nonlocal torque enables new design schemes for magnetic memory devices that do not require the application of large voltages across tunnel ...

A Spin‐Texture Spin‐Valves With Van Der Waals Magnets
ABSTRACT All‐electrical methods for nucleating, detecting, and manipulating spin textures in 2D van der Waals (vdW) magnets can serve as fundamental building blocks for multi‐state spintronic memory, logic, and neuromorphic computing applications.

Asymptotic behavior of solutions of a Fisher equation with free boundaries and nonlocal term
We study the asymptotic behavior of solutions of a Fisher equation with free boundaries and the nonlocal term (an integral convolution in space). This problem can model the spreading of a biological or chemical species, where free boundaries represent ...

A polymorphic reconfigurable multi‐electrode device based on electrically bistable nanostructured metallic films. The adaptive reconfiguration properties of the nanostructured network under specific input voltages drive the reprogrammability of the device. This system can be employed for the implementation of polymorphic devices, which can be used both

We are concerned with the existence and uniqueness of solutions to nonlocal boundary-value problems on an interval $[a,c]$ for the differential equation $y^{(n)}=f(x,y,y',dots,y^{(n-1)})$, where $ngeq 3$.

This paper studies free vibration and bending behavior of singlewalled carbon nanotubes (SWCNTs) embedded on elastic medium based on three-dimensional theory of elasticity. To accounting the size effect of carbon nanotubes, non-local theory is adopted to

Effect of boundary conditions and constitutive relations on the free vibration of nonlocal beams
The free vibrations of nonlocal Euler and Timoshenko beams have been studied extensively, but there still remain some problems concerning boundary conditions and constitutive relations.
