A Class of Nonlocal Coupled Semilinear Parabolic System with Nonlocal Boundaries

open access: yesThe Scientific World Journal, 2014
We investigate the positive solutions of the semilinear parabolic system with coupled nonlinear nonlocal sources subject to weighted nonlocal Dirichlet boundary conditions. The blow-up and global existence criteria are obtained.

Investigation of complex eigenvalues for a stationary problem with two-point nonlocal boundary condition

open access: yesLietuvos Matematikos Rinkinys, 2011
The Sturm–Liouville problem with one classical and another two-point nonlocal boundary condition is considered in this paper. These problems with nonlocal boundary condition are not self-adjoint, so the spectrum has complex points. We investigate how the

On Nonlinear Parabolic Equations with Nonlocal Boundary Condition

open access: yesJournal of Mathematical Analysis and Applications, 1994
Let \(\emptyset \neq \Omega \subset \mathbb{R}^ n\) be a bounded domain with \(C^ 2\)-boundary and \(T > 0\). Of concern is the semilinear second order initial-boundary value problem \[ \begin{alignedat}{2} \partial_ tu(t,x) - A(t)u(t,x) & = f \bigl( t,x,u(t,x) \bigr), &\qquad (t,x) &\in (0,T) \times \Omega, \\ u(t,x) & = \int_ \Omega \Phi (x,y) u(t,y)

Bell Nonlocality in Hybrid Networks

open access: yesAdvanced Physics Research, EarlyView.
This study explores nonlocal correlations in the hybrid networks, including classical, quantum and no‐signaling resource emitting local hidden variables, quantum stabilizer states and no‐signaling systems to variant observers. We construct the Bell operators using stabilizing operators and then find the upper bounds in hybrid networks.

No‐regret and low‐regret control for a weakly coupled abstract hyperbolic system

open access: yesAsian Journal of Control, EarlyView.
Abstract This paper explores an optimal control problem of weakly coupled abstract hyperbolic systems with missing initial data. Hyperbolic systems, known for their wave‐like phenomena and complexity, become even more challenging with weak coupling between subsystems.

Glycerol Carbonate from Dimethyl Carbonate and Glycerol Over TBD‐Functionalized SBA‐16

open access: yesChemCatChem, EarlyView.
The transesterification reaction of glycerol with dimethyl carbonate (DMC) is an attractive path for glycerol carbonate production. A heterogeneous solid base catalyst was developed, combining strong basicity with high surface area and structural stability. Glycerol conversion reached 97% with a high glycerol carbonate yield.

Controllability for a new class of fractional neutral integro-differential evolution equations with infinite delay and nonlocal conditions

open access: yes, 2017
In this paper, we apply the fractional calculus and a suitable fixed point theorem with the measure of noncompactness to give the sufficient conditions of the controllability for a new class of fractional neutral integro-differential evolution systems ...

On the Influence of Catalyst Mesopore Structure in the Catalytic Cracking of Polypropylene

open access: yesChemistryEurope, EarlyView.
Catalytic cracking is a promising approach to convert polyolefin plastics into hydrocarbons. Herein, the effect of catalyst pore size in polypropylene cracking using amorphous silica–alumina with identical external acidity, but varying mesopore diameters and particle sizes, is isolated. Mesopore size has minimal effect on activity, indicating that high

Maximal regular boundary value problems in Banach-valued function spaces and applications

open access: yesInternational Journal of Mathematics and Mathematical Sciences, 2006
The nonlocal boundary value problems for differential operator equations of second order with dependent coefficients are studied. The principal parts of the differential operators generated by these problems are non-selfadjoint.
