Integration of Ordinary Differential Equations via Nonlocal Symmetries
Nonlinear Dynamics, 2002It is a classical result that \(n\)th-order ordinary differential equations with a solvable Lie algebra of point symmetries \(\mathfrak{g}\) (also called fundamental algebra of the equation) can be integrated by quadratures. The structure of the algebra \(\mathfrak{g}\) can also be used to obtain other simplifications or reductions of an equation ...

Optimal control problems for some nonlocal differential equations
Nonlinear Analysis: Theory, Methods & Applications, 2001The direct methods of calculus were used to analyze the optimal control problems for some nonlocal differential equations. The problems involved functional-differential equations with argument deviation. The relaxation of a variational problem involving a local functional was reduced to some well-known convexification of the integrand.

For systems of partial differential equations (PDEs) with n≥3 independent variables, construction of nonlocally related PDE systems is substantially more complicated than is the situation for PDE systems with two independent variables. In particular, in the multidimensional situation, nonlocally related PDE systems can arise as nonlocally related ...

HYERS-ULAM STABILITY FOR NONLOCAL DIFFERENTIAL EQUATIONS
Journal of Science Natural Science, 2020In this paper, we present a result on Hyers-Ulam stability for a class of nonlocal differential equations in Hilbert spaces by using the theory of integral equations with completely positive kernels together with a new Gronwall inequality type. The paper develops some recent results on fractional differential equations to the ones involving general ...

Stochastic Differential Equations with Nonlocal Sample Dependence
Stochastic Analysis and Applications, 2010Stochastic ordinary differential equations are investigated for which the coefficients depend on nonlocal properties of the current random variable in the sample space such as the expected value or the second moment. The approach here covers a broad class of functional dependence of the right-hand side on the current random state and is not restricted ...

Nonlocal conditions for fractional differential equations
Studia Universitatis Babes-Bolyai MatematicaIn this work we use the method of lower and upper solutions to develop an iterative technique, which is not necessarily monotone, and combined with a fixed point theorem to prove the existence of at least one solution of nonlinear fractional differential equations with nonlocal boundary conditions of integral type.
