This Review proposes an interface‐centric framework for large‐area 2D materials integration, linking wafer‐scale single‐crystal epitaxy, clean transfer and deterministic stacking, and interface‐dominated structure–property–device correlations. We summarize how interfacial symmetry and energetics govern nucleation/coalescence and adhesion‐controlled ...

A nonlocal contact formulation for confined granular systems
We present a nonlocal formulation of contact mechanics that accounts for the interplay of deformations due to multiple contact forces acting on a single particle.

Peach-Koehler Forces within the Theory of Nonlocal Elasticity [PDF]
We consider dislocations in the framework of Eringen's nonlocal elasticity. The fundamental field equations of nonlocal elasticity are presented. Using these equations, the nonlocal force stresses of a straight screw and a straight edge dislocation are given.

Fractional Liouville Equation on Lattice Phase-Space
In this paper we propose a lattice analog of phase-space fractional Liouville equation. The Liouville equation for phase-space lattice with long-range jumps of power-law types is suggested.

Peridynamics with a Cube‐Shaped Neighborhood
ABSTRACT This paper investigates the effects of cube‐shaped neighborhoods in peridynamic theory as an alternative to the traditional spherical neighborhoods. We examine how different neighborhood geometries influence the behavior of various peridynamic formulations, including bond‐based models, state‐based formulations, and correspondence methods.

Size-dependent buckling analysis of non-prismatic Timoshenko nanobeams made of FGMs rested on Winkler foundation [PDF]
In this article, the buckling behavior of tapered Timoshenko nanobeams made of axially functionally graded (AFG) materials resting on Winkler type elastic foundation is perused.

Methodological Frameworks for Computational Electrocatalysis: From Theory to Practice
Computational modeling is widely used to investigate electrocatalytic reactions, yet accurately describing electrochemical interfaces remains challenging. This review outlines theoretical and computational strategies, based on density functional theory, to model reaction thermodynamics, solvation effects, applied bias, and kinetics.

Wedge disclination in the field theory of elastoplasticity
In this paper we study the wedge disclination within the elastoplastic defect theory. Using the stress function method we found exact analytical solutions for all characteristic fields of a straight wedge disclination in a cylinder.
