Guiding and Manipulating Light Fields in Microstructured Liquid Crystals
This review summarizes recent advances in guided‐wave optics enabled by microstructured liquid crystal (LC) devices, covering their fundamental material properties, key degree of freedom for dynamic light field manipulations. The advances of linear guided‐wave optics, nonlinear‐optics with spatial optical solitons, and microlasers in LC‐based devices ...

Approximation of solutions of the forced duffing equation with nonlocal discontinuous type integral boundary conditions [PDF]
summary:A generalized quasilinearization technique is applied to obtain a sequence of approximate solutions converging monotonically and quadratically to the unique solution of the forced Duffing equation with nonlocal discontinuous type integral ...

Internationalization and ESG Controversies: Do Foreign Directors on Corporate Boards Matter?
ABSTRACT This study examines the relationship between internationalization and environmental, social, and governance (ESG) controversies, focusing on whether foreign directors on corporate boards influence this relationship. Drawing on resource dependence theory, we argue that internationalization increases ESG controversies due to the complexity of ...

On the existence of a Feller semigroup with atomic measure in a nonlocal boundary condition
The existence of Feller semigroups arising in the theory of multidimensional diffusion processes is studied. An elliptic operator of second order is considered on a plane bounded region G.

On a mixed nonlocal problem for a wave equation
A nonlocal problem for a wave equation with integral condition is studied in a cylinder. The uniqueness and existence of a generalized solution is proved with the help of an a priori estimate and the Galerkin procedure, respectively.

Nonlocal q-fractional boundary value problem with Stieltjes integral conditions
In this paper, we are dedicated to investigating a new class of one-dimensional lower-order fractional q-differential equations involving integral boundary conditions supplemented with Stieltjes integral. This condition is more general as it contains an arbitrary order derivative.

A NiII‐acetylide framework, H2TFPP‐Ni‐AF, demonstrates outstanding photocatalytic CO2 reduction performance: 13.16 mmol h−1 g−1 of CO with 97.9% selectivity. Synergistic interactions, including d‐p orbital hybridization within NiII‐bis(acetylide) moieties ( − C ≡ C−NiII(PBu3)2 − C ≡ C − ) and the efficient charge transport afforded by π‐conjugated ...

On Fučík type spectrum for problem with integral nonlocal boundary condition
The Fučík equation x' '= -μ x+λ x- with two types of nonlocal boundary value conditions are considered. The Fučík type spectrum for both problems are constructed. The visualization of the spectrum for some values of parameter γ is provided.

NONLOCAL PROBLEM WITH INTEGRAL CONDITION FOR A FOURTH ORDER EQUATION
In this paper, we consider a nonlocal problem with integral condition with respect to spacial variable for a forth order partial differential equation. The conditions on the data for unique solvability of the problem in Sobolev space are determined. Proving of uniqueness of generalized solution is based on acquired apriori estimates.
