Investigation of Fučik Type Spectrum for Problem with Nonlocal Integral Condition
Šiame magistriniame darbe nagrinėjama Fučiko lygties x 00 = −µx + + λx − su vienaklasikine x (0) = 0 , o kita nelokaliąja integraline kraštine sąlyga R ξ 0 x ( s ) dt = 0 , spektro priklausomybė nuo nelokaliosios sąlygos parametrų γ ir ξ.

The goal of this work is to look at how a nonlinear model describes hematopoiesis and its complexities utilizing commonly used techniques with historical and material links. Based on time delay, the Mackey–Glass model is explored in two instances. To offer a range, the relevance of the parameter impacting stability (bifurcation) is recorded.

ABSTRACT Nowadays, a substantial portion of investigations concerning the symmetry analysis of differential equations predominantly adhere to a framework comprising the following key procedures: (i) the derivation of symmetries, (ii) the determination of an optimal system, (iii) the utilization of these symmetries to construct invariants or ...

Numerical Investigation of a Diffusive SIR Model: Focus on Positivity Preservation
ABSTRACT In this paper, we consider a system of semilinear partial differential equations (PDEs) representing a spatially extended SIR epidemic model. A brief analytical investigation of the well‐posedness and positivity of the solutions is provided in the appendix, while the main focus is on the numerical treatment of the model.

Continuous dependence of solutions to mixed boundary value problems for a parabolic equation
We prove the continuous dependence, upon the data, of solutions to second-order parabolic equations. We study two boundary-value problems: One has a nonlocal (integral) condition and the another has a local boundary condition. The proofs are based on

Weak Solutions for a Class of Nonlocal Singular Problems Over the Nehari Manifold
ABSTRACT In this paper, we consider a nonlocal model of dilatant non‐Newtonian fluid with a Dirichlet boundary condition. By using the Nehari manifold and fibering map methods, we obtain the existence of at least two weak solutions, with sign information.

T(w)o Patch or Not T(w)o Patch: A Novel Biocontrol Model
ABSTRACT A number of top‐down biocontrol models have been proposed where the introduced predators' efficacy is enhanced via the provision of additional food (AF). However, if the predator has a pest‐dependent monotone functional response, pest extinction is unattainable. In the current manuscript, we propose a model where a predator with pest‐dependent

Anisotropic Initial Damage and Its Effect on Tensile Response of Plain Concrete
ABSTRACT Damage is often described as isotropic, implying that a scalar value describes its initial state. However, the prior micro‐cracking pattern at points of an existing building, that is, the initial damage, may be oriented by a preload. The degradation of the Volume Element due to oriented preloads shall be described as anisotropic and ...
