Hybrid Sparsity Model for Fast Terahertz Imaging

open access: yesMicromachines, 2021
In order to shorten the long-term image acquisition time of the terahertz time domain spectroscopy imaging system while ensuring the imaging quality, a hybrid sparsity model (HSM) is proposed for fast terahertz imaging in this paper, which incorporates ...

A Novel SAR Image Despeckling Method Based on Local Filter With Nonlocal Preprocessing

open access: yesIEEE Journal of Selected Topics in Applied Earth Observations and Remote Sensing, 2023
Owing to the characteristics of long distance and strong penetration, a synthetic aperture radar (SAR) imaging system could provide ground information with high resolution under a poor climate environment.

Seismic Data Denoising Based on Sparse and Low-Rank Regularization

open access: yesEnergies, 2020
Seismic denoising is a core task of seismic data processing. The quality of a denoising result directly affects data analysis, inversion, imaging and other applications.

Double-Constraint Inpainting Model of a Single-Depth Image

open access: yesSensors, 2020
In real applications, obtained depth images are incomplete; therefore, depth image inpainting is studied here. A novel model that is characterised by both a low-rank structure and nonlocal self-similarity is proposed. As a double constraint, the low-rank

Image interpolation based on nonlocal self-similarity [PDF]

open access: yesScienceAsia, 2014
This paper presents an efficient method for the resolution enhancement of low resolution (LR) images. Inspired by the great success of nonlocal filtering, the proposed method interpolates a missing pixel by a nonlocal estimation which takes into account the self-similarity of images and the geometric duality between LR images and high resolution (HR ...

Tensor train rank minimization with nonlocal self-similarity for tensor completion

open access: yesInverse Problems and Imaging, 2021
The tensor train (TT) rank has received increasing attention in tensor completion due to its ability to capture the global correlation of high-order tensors ($\textrm{order} >3$). For third order visual data, direct TT rank minimization has not exploited the potential of TT rank for high-order tensors.

Nonconvex Nonlocal Tucker Decomposition for 3D Medical Image Super-Resolution

open access: yesFrontiers in Neuroinformatics, 2022
Limited by hardware conditions, imaging devices, transmission efficiency, and other factors, high-resolution (HR) images cannot be obtained directly in clinical settings.

Single-image superresolution based on local regression and nonlocal self-similarity [PDF]

open access: yesJournal of Electronic Imaging, 2014
The challenge of learning-based superresolution (SR) is to predict the relationships between low-resolution (LR) patches and their corresponding high-resolution (HR) patches. By learning such relationships from external training images, the existing learning-based SR approaches are often affected by the relevance between the training data and the LR ...

Self-Similar Behavior of a Nonlocal Diffusion Equation with Time Delay

open access: yesSIAM Journal on Mathematical Analysis, 2020
We study the asymptotic behaviour of solutions of a class of linear non-local measure-valued differential equations with time delay. Our main result states that the solutions asymptotically exhibit a parabolic like behaviour in the large times, that is precisely expressed in term of heat kernel.
