Photon Recycling–Driven Photodetection Enhancement in Ni(AcO)2–MAPbBr3 Nanocomposite Waveguides
Photon recycling is demonstrated as an effective mechanism to enhance perovskite photodetector performance. A Ni(AcO)2/MAPbBr3 nanocomposite waveguide enables long‐range propagation and reabsorption of photoluminescence photons, increasing photocurrent by ∼60%. Under pulsed excitation, reabsorption of amplified spontaneous emission further enhances the

During optimization via the quantum natural gradient in a variational quantum eigensolver, the evolution of the Fubini‐Study metric suppresses irrelevant parameter directions and reduces state distinguishability near the ground state. ABSTRACT The lack of both a consistently effective and broadly reliable classical optimizer for variational quantum ...

A Survey of Interlayer Interaction Models for Graphene and Other 2D Materials
Van der Waals interactions arising from electronic polarization at atomically close interfaces generate corrugated interlayer energy landscapes that govern normal and tangential tractions. This review presents an overview of quantum, atomistic, analytical, and continuum modeling approaches, highlighting their roles across length scales in capturing ...

Data‐Efficient Electromagnetic Surrogate Solver Through Dissipative Relaxation Transfer Learning
Dissipative relaxation transfer learning (DIRTL) enables data‐efficient training of electromagnetic surrogate solvers by pretraining data generated with artificial material loss before fine‐tuning on target lossless data. The framework suppresses resonant outlier effects during early training, allowing effective adaptation to high‐amplitude resonances ...
