System Theoretical Study on the Effect of Variable Nonmetallic Doping on Improving Catalytic Activity of 2D-Ti3C2O2 for Hydrogen Evolution Reaction

open access: yesNanomaterials, 2021
2D MXenes have been found to be one of the most promising catalysts for hydrogen evolution reaction (HER) due to their excellent electronic conductivity, hydrophilic nature, porosity and stability. Nonmetallic (NM) element doping is an effective approach

Design of High‐Energy Anode for All‐Solid‐State Lithium Batteries–A Model with Borohydride‐Based Electrolytes

open access: yesAdvanced Materials Interfaces, EarlyView.
This study proposes a function‐sharing anode design to enable nonmetallic lithium insertion while maintaining intimate interfacial contact with the solid‐state electrolyte. A combination of lithium‐compatible and conformable borohydrides, highly conformable indium metal, less‐graphitized acetylene black, and a layer of highly graphitized massive ...

Chirality‐Driven Piezocatalysis in MOFs: Achieving Efficient Cocatalyst‐Free Hydrogen Evolution

open access: yesAngewandte Chemie, EarlyView.
We report a chirality‐driven post‐synthetic modification strategy that grafts chiral L‐histidine (L‐His) onto the Hf6 clusters of MOF‐808(Hf), which significantly boosts the piezoelectricity and charge transfer efficiency, thus significantly enhancing the piezocatalytic performance of MOF‐808(Hf).

Properties of Lithium bis(oxatlato)borate (LiBOB) as a Lithium Salt and Cycle Performance in LiMn2O4 Half Cell

open access: yesInternational Journal of Electrochemical Science, 2006
Crystalline LiBOB which we prepared in our lab was observed by SEM method. Impurities of product were examined by XRD experiment. The decomposition voltage under a deoxidized current was 1V vs.Li+/Li, and under a oxidized current the electrochemical ...

Dynamic Etching‐Induced Cl‐Terminated Ti3C2Clx/Ti3ZnC2 Heterostructure for Ammonia Electrosynthesis and Zinc‐Nitrogen Batteries

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
A stable Ti3C2Clx/Ti3ZnC2 heterostructure, fabricated by dynamic etching, exhibits outstanding electrocatalytic NRR activity (NH3 yield: 20.1 µg h−1 mg−1, FE: 38.1%) in alkaline media. The corresponding Zn‐N2 battery achieves a peak power density of 36.5 µW cm−2 and an NH3 yield of 13.1 µg h−1 mg−1, providing an advanced strategy for NH3 and ...

Sliding Ferroelectricity Driven Spin‐Layertronics in Altermagnetic Multilayers

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
Integrating sliding ferroelectricity with altermagnetism enables nonvolatile electrical control of spin and layer degrees of freedom. In bilayer CuF2, interlayer translation reverses layer‐locked spin‐split bands, establishing a multifunctional “spin‐layertronic” platform.
