Nonparametric Estimation of the Density of a Change-Point
The paper considers a panel model where the regression coe¢ cients undergo changes at an unknown time point, di§erentfor each series. The timings of changes are assumed to be independent, identically distributed, and drawn from some com-mon distribution, the density of which we aim to estimate nonparametrically.

ABSTRACT Women with the FMR1 premutation (PM) are at increased risk for fragile X‐associated conditions (FXPAC), including cognitive and psychiatric features collectively termed fragile X‐associated neuropsychiatric disorders (FXAND). This study is the first to systematically investigate cognitive and psychiatric features in Italian female premutation ...

Abstract Background Ex vivo lung perfusion (EVLP) allows the evaluation of lungs that do not meet standard transplantation criteria. Current procedures do not permit the identification of regional functional deficits. We investigated the feasibility of assessing lobar gas exchange during EVLP in a swine model.

IDENTIFICATION AND ESTIMATION OF NONPARAMETRIC STRUCTURAL [PDF]
This paper concerns a new statistical approach to instrumental variables (IV) method for nonparametric structural models with additive errors. A general identifying condition of the model is proposed, based on richness of the space generated by marginal ...

This study demonstrated elevated levels of fecal component 3 (C3) and fibronectin (FN) in an ulcerative colitis (UC) mouse model. Importantly, fecal C3 exhibited a stronger correlation with disease activity than the clinically used fecal calprotectin (FC).

We observed a negative effect of brachycephalic obstructive airway syndrome (BOAS) in a staggered manner based on the severity of the condition on respiratory and cardiac patterns, glycemia, acid–base balance, fetal growth, and uterine artery hemodynamics, thus requiring adaptations within the fetal–placental unit. Severely affected bitches had uterine

Nonparametric Frontier Estimation from Noisy Data [PDF]
A new nonparametric estimator of production a frontier is defined and studied when the data set of production units is contaminated by measurement error. The measurement error is assumed to be an additive normal random variable on the input variable, but

Conditional density estimation: an application to the Ecuadorian manufacturing sector [PDF]
This note applies conditional density estimation as a visual method to present results. The proposed method is illustrated by application to a firm-level manufacturing data set from Ecuador in 2002.Density ...

Acute ischemic stroke due to large vessel occlusion is associated with rapid intravascular immune activation. Analysis of arterial blood sampled distal to the thrombus during mechanical thrombectomy revealed increased extracellular adenosine triphosphate (ATP) and interleukin‐1β (IL‐1β) levels, evidence of inflammasome priming in monocytes, and ...

Computing nonparametric functional estimates in semiparametric problems. [PDF]
We offer a set of FORTRAN routines which compute nonparametric estimates of a number of functionals. The routines are primarily intended to be used in the estimation of semiparametric models.
