Further Findings on the Intergenerational Transmission of Alcohol Consumption
ABSTRACT Using 43,817 parent–child pairs from 23 waves of the HILDA Survey, I study the intergenerational transmission of alcohol use within a rational model of trait transmission. Transmission is predominantly same‐sex: the mother–daughter elasticity is 0.10 and the father–son elasticity is 0.09; there is no father–daughter effect.

Data-Driven Nonparametric Hypothesis Testing
2018 IEEE International Conference on Acoustics, Speech and Signal Processing (ICASSP), 2018We investigate a nonparametric hypothesis testing problem, in which we assume a testing data stream is generated by one of a set of distributions (hypotheses), and the goal is to test which one of the multiple distributions generates the testing data stream, i.e., which hypothesis occurs.

A nonparametric hypothesis test for heteroscedasticity
Journal of Nonparametric Statistics, 2016ABSTRACTIn this paper, a hypothesis test for heteroscedasticity is proposed in a nonparametric regression model. The test statistic, which uses the residuals from a nonparametric fit of the mean function, is based on an adaptation of the well-known Levene's test.
