A Comparison of Outcomes and Complications Between Closed Reduction and Open Reduction of Mandibular Condylar and Subcondylar Fractures. [PDF]
ABSTRACT Objective To compare postoperative outcomes and complications between closed reduction and open reduction and internal fixation (ORIF) of condylar and subcondylar fractures. Methods This is a multicenter, retrospective database study utilizing data from 64 healthcare organizations in the United States from January 1, 2010 to July 31, 2025. The

Charge‐Transfer Assembly of Electrically Conductive Metal–Organic Cages
Electrically conductive and permanently porous metal–organic cages are realized using charge‐transfer assembly between electron‐donating cages and electron‐accepting molecules, which self‐assemble to create new charge transport pathways without sacrificing access to internal void space.

Nonlocomotory Robotic Strategies for Dynamic Rotation Control in Terrestrial Robots: A Review
Terrestrial robots increasingly require rapid body rotation to maintain stability and agility in complex environments. This review shows nonlocomotory rotational control strategies that operate without ground contact, including reaction wheels, tails, bars, limbs, and thrusters.

Geometric constraint reconfiguration enables a rigid–foldable kirigami‐inspired mechanism to switch between twisting, directional translation, and self‐locking states. By encoding multifunctionality directly into its architecture, the mechanism achieves multimodal motion and passive locking without reassembly, providing a compact platform for adaptive ...

Utilizing RegGAN‐generated synthetic CTs, this study evaluates the dosimetric robustness of physical versus virtual bolus strategies in breast VMAT. Results indicate that the virtual bolus method provides comparable plan quality with superior robustness for target coverage homogeneity against daily anatomical variations.

Ultrathin Freestanding BiFeO3 Membranes Grown by Pulsed Laser Deposition
Ultrathin freestanding BiFeO3 membranes down to five‐unit cells are realized by pulsed laser deposition using a water‐soluble Sr3Al2O6 sacrificial layer. Strontium diffusion is revealed to drive the spontaneous formation of an Aurivillius‐like phase, while ultrathin SrRuO3 interlayers suppress interfacial intermixing, preserve polar tetragonality, and ...

LeafFit: Plant Assets Creation from 3D Gaussian Splatting
Abstract We propose LeafFit, a pipeline that converts 3D Gaussian Splatting (3DGS) of individual plants into editable, instanced mesh assets. While 3DGS faithfully captures complex foliage, its high memory footprint and lack of mesh topology make it incompatible with traditional game production workflows. We address this by leveraging the repetition of

Non‐Rigid 3D Shape Correspondences: From Foundations to Open Challenges and Opportunities
Abstract Estimating correspondences between deformed shape instances is a long‐standing problem in computer graphics; numerous applications, from texture transfer to statistical modelling, rely on recovering an accurate correspondence map. Many methods have thus been proposed to tackle this challenging problem from varying perspectives, depending on ...

Abstract We propose a novel framework for the statistical modeling and analysis of the spatio‐temporal shape variability in articulated 4D (i.e., 3D + time) shapes such as human bodies and animals. We treat articulated 3D shapes, represented using parametric models such as SMPL or its variants, as elements of the product space of shape and pose ...
