This paper investigates a class of generalized Cohen–Grossberg neural networks (CGNNs) with discontinuous activations and mixed delays. Based on the nonsmooth analysis theory, the drive-response concept, differential inclusions theory, we give several ...

Coordinating Food Security With Carbon Reduction and Sequestration in China
This study examines the coupling coordination between food security and agricultural carbon reduction and sequestration in China. Using a coupling coordination model and GTWR analysis, we reveal significant spatiotemporal heterogeneity and identify key drivers for achieving coordinated low‐carbon agricultural development.

Two solutions for fractional p-Laplacian inclusions under nonresonance
We study a pseudo-differential inclusion driven by the fractional p-Laplacian operator and involving a nonsmooth potential, which satisfies nonresonance conditions both at the origin and at infinity.

ABSTRACT High‐level decision‐making for dynamical systems often involves performance and safety specifications that are activated or deactivated depending on conditions related to the system state and commands. Such decision‐making problems can be naturally formulated as optimization problems where these conditional activations are regulated by ...

In this paper, we introduce a novel multilayer architecture called the convolutional sparse network (CSN), which is grounded in dictionary learning and convolutional sparse coding. Similar to conventional convolutional neural networks (CNNs), the CSN is designed to extract discriminative features from images.

This paper proposes an eXtreme gradient boosting tree (XGBoost)–long short‐term memory (LSTM) fusion model using traffic big data, integrating temporal, meteorological, and spatial features. First, the XGBoost models historical congestion ratios and associated features for each region, generating preliminary predictions and extracting regional residual

Biodiversity–food trade‐offs when agricultural land is spared from production
Abstract Biodiversity conservation in agricultural landscapes, the world's predominant land use, could involve sparing, or setting aside, agricultural land from production, implying biodiversity–food trade‐offs. Employing bird species and agricultural data in two panel data sets, we evaluate the extent of set‐aside's trade‐offs in England between 1992 ...

Ordinary differential equations (ODEs) are very basic when it comes to modeling dynamic systems in various fields of science and engineering. However, solving high‐dimensional, nonlinear, and stiff ODEs is still a major challenge given the limitations of existing numerical methods, which tend to have difficulties in terms of accuracy and efficiency ...
