Anomalous Spin‐Optical Helical Effect in Ti‐Based Kagome Metal

open access: yesAdvanced Materials, Volume 38, Issue 21, 13 April 2026.
The kagome lattice hosts diverse correlated quantum states, including elusive loop currents. We report spin‐handedness selective signals in CsTi3Bi5, termed the anomalous spin‐optical helical effect, surpassing conventional spin responses. Arising from light helicity coupled to spin‐orbital correlations, this effect provides a sensitive, indirect probe

Nonstandard Models in Measure Theory and in functional Analysis

open access: yes, 2017
This thesis is concerned with the study of nonstandard models in measure theory and in functional analysis. In measure theory, we define elementary numerosities, that are additive measures that take on values in a non-archimedean field and for which the measure of every singleton is 1.

Predicting Materials Thermodynamics Enabled by Large Language Model‐Driven Dataset Building and Machine Learning

open access: yesAdvanced Intelligent Systems, Volume 8, Issue 4, April 2026.
Illustration of text data mining of rare earth mineral thermodynamic parameters with the large language model‐powered LMExt. A dataset is built with mined thermodynamic properties. Subsequently, a machine learning model is trained to predict formation enthalpy from the dataset.

Rational Design Strategies for Stimuli‐Responsive DNAzymes Using Modified and Artificial Nucleotides

open access: yesChemistry – A European Journal, Volume 32, Issue 13, 1 April 2026.
Activity control of RNA‐cleaving DNAzymes in response to external stimuli has attracted growing interest for applications in DNA‐based diagnostics, therapeutics, and dynamic DNA nanotechnology. This review summarizes rational design strategies for stimuli‐responsive DNAzymes using modified or artificial nucleotides, including split and caged DNAzymes ...

Usability Quality Model: An Enhancement of Dromey's Model

open access: yesEngineering Reports, Volume 8, Issue 4, April 2026.
The usability quality model (UQM) enhances Dromey's model by linking low‐level structural forms with high‐level usability attributes through usability carrying properties (UCPs). This model guides developers and quality managers in systematically incorporating usability into software, improving efficiency, learnability, and user satisfaction.

Conditional Text Generation for AI‐Powered Interviews: A T5‐Based System With GPT‐2 Comparison

open access: yesEngineering Reports, Volume 8, Issue 4, April 2026.
This work introduces an AI‐based interview system that uses T5 to generate context‐specific interview questions and responses. By comparing it with GPT‐2, the study shows T5's ability to produce more coherent and relevant dialogue, supporting advances in automated interview and conversational AI applications.

Dependence Between Effort Offsets and Process Intensity in Generalized Models for Count Data: Spatial Models of Animal Abundance

open access: yesEnvironmetrics, Volume 37, Issue 3, April 2026.
ABSTRACT Researchers often use offsets to control for variation in exposure or effort in GLMM‐style models for count data. In this paper, we study the case where effort is dependent on the underlying process of interest (e.g., Poisson intensity) and where inference focuses on prediction. We first examine a simple Poisson GLM, where we use simulation to

Fight for the People's Health: The Application of Al Multiagent Systems in Medical Consortia

open access: yesHealth Care Science, Volume 5, Issue 2, Page 158-168, April 2026.
This study describes a multiagent system using the “orchestrator‐worker” model and role‐based architecture to create an interactive platform. The system draws on retrieval‐augmented generation, large language models, and the chain of thought (CoT) reasoning mechanism.

Selective Drug‐Free Active Surveillance in Ulcerative Colitis: Biomarker‐Guided, Patient‐Centered Approach

open access: yesJGH Open, Volume 10, Issue 4, April 2026.
ABSTRACT Ulcerative colitis (UC) is traditionally managed with long‐term 5‐aminosalicylic acid (5‐ASA) administration. However, in real‐world practice, carefully selected low‐risk patients in sustained deep remission may remain stable without continuous therapy.
