On differential operators an differential equations on torus
In this paper, we consider periodic boundary value problems for a differential equation whose coefficients are trigonometric polynomials. The spaces of generalized functions are constructed, in which the problems considered have solutions, in particular,

Discussions are presented by Morita and Sato on the problem of obtaining the particular solution of an inhomogeneous differential equation with polynomial coefficients in terms of the Green’s function. In a paper, the problem is treated in distribution theory, and in another paper, the formulation is given on the basis of nonstandard analysis, where ...

Peptides encoded by short ORFs control development and define a new eukaryotic gene family.
Despite recent advances in developmental biology, and the sequencing and annotation of genomes, key questions regarding the organisation of cells into embryos remain.

Distributed optimal control of a nonstandard nonlocal phase field system with double obstacle potential [PDF]
This paper is concerned with a distributed optimal control problem for a nonlocal phase field model of Cahn-Hilliard type, which is a nonlocal version of a model for two-species phase segregation on an atomic lattice under the presence of diffusion.

Grid functions of nonstandard analysis in the theory of distributions and in partial differential equations [PDF]
We introduce the space of grid functions, a space of generalized functions of nonstandard analysis that provides a coherent generalization both of the space of distributions and of the space of Young measures. We will show that in the space of grid functions it is possible to formulate problems from many areas of functional analysis in a way that ...

It is shown that the index law of the Riemann-Liouville fractional derivative is recovered when nonstandard analysis is applied, and then the solutions of Euler’s differential equation are obtained in nonstandard analysis, where infinitesimal number appears. They are given in the form, from which the solutions in distribution theory are obtained.

Myocardial Perfusion Defects in Hypertrophic Cardiomyopathy Mutation Carriers
Background Impaired myocardial blood flow (MBF) in the absence of epicardial coronary disease is a feature of hypertrophic cardiomyopathy (HCM). Although most evident in hypertrophied or scarred segments, reduced MBF can occur in apparently normal segments.
