Nonstandard Topology without Logic, Ultrafilters as infinitesimal points in topological space

open access: yes, 2013
Nonstandard analysis is very complex, so finding a simple description of infinitesimal points will be useful. In this paper, ultrafilters as infinitesimal points in a topological space will be proposed, and some topological concepts is restated by this tools.

On Nonstandard Topology

open access: yes, 2011
Nonstandard topology is a kind of topology constructed by means of nonstandard analysis. In the literature, most books and research articles talk about nonstandard analysis. They rarely talk about nonstandard topology. Indeed, it is hard to find a single book or article that gives a comprehensive study of nonstandard topology.

Nonstandard Vector Space with a Metric and Its Topological Structure

open access: yes, 2013
In this paper, we introduce the nonstandard vector space in which the concept of additive inverse element will not be taken into account. We also consider a metric defined on this nonstandard vector space. Under these settings, the conventional intuitive properties for the open and closed balls will not hold true.

Topologizing Rings of Map Germs: An Order Theoretic Analysis of Germs via Nonstandard Methods

open access: yes, 2012
Using nonstandard analysis we define a topology on the ring of germs of functions: $(mathbb R^n,0)\rightarrow(mathbb R,0)$. We prove that this topology is absolutely convex, Hausdorff, that convergent nets of continuous germs have continuous germs as limits and that, for continuous germs, ring operations and compositions are continuous.

Riemannian $\mathbf{(1+d)}$-Dim Space-Time Manifolds with Nonstandard Topology which Admit Dimensional Reduction to Any Lower Dimension and Transformation of the Klein-Gordon Equation to the $\mathbf{1}$-Dim Schrdinger Like Equation

open access: yes, 2010
This rather technical paper presents some generalization of the results of recent publications \cite{Shirkov2010, DVPF2010, PFDV2010} where toy models of dimensional reduction of space-time were considered. Here we introduce and consider a specific type of multidimensional space-times with nontrivial topology and nontrivial Riemannian metric, which ...
