Next‐Generation Carbon‐Based Anodes for Alkali Metal‐Ion Batteries: Recent Progress on Biphenylene and Emerging Materials

open access: yesENERGY &ENVIRONMENTAL MATERIALS, EarlyView.
Recent advances in carbon‐based anodes for alkali metal‐ion batteries are critically reviewed, with emphasis on biphenylene and other emerging carbon allotropes. Biphenylene exhibits exceptional theoretical electrochemical properties beyond conventional graphite, highlighting its strong potential as a next‐generation anode material once scalable ...

National Council for the Aged: report on its second term of office, June 1984-March 1989.

open access: yes, 1989
It was the 1968 Inter-Departmental Care of the Aged Report that first suggested the formation of a National Council for the Aged. This suggestion was implemented - in modified form - in June 1981 when the then Minister for Health, Dr.

Electromagnetic nonuniformly correlated beams

open access: yes, 2012
A class of electromagnetic sources with nonuniformly distributed field correlations is introduced. The conditions on source parameters guaranteeing that the source generates a physical beam are derived.

Langevin picture of subdiffusion in nonuniformly expanding medium [PDF]

open access: yes, 2023
Anomalous diffusion phenomena have been observed in many complex physical and biological systems. One significant advance recently is the physical extension of particle's motion in static medium to uniformly (and even nonuniformly) expanding medium.

9.4‐Tesla magnetic resonance imaging in focal epilepsy patients with high‐resolution surface‐based profiling of focal cortical dysplasias

open access: yesEpilepsia, EarlyView.
Abstract Objective The detection of subtle epileptogenic lesions such as focal cortical dysplasias (FCDs) is a clinical challenge in the management of drug‐resistant focal epilepsy (DRFE). Ultra‐high‐field (UHF) magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) offers increased signal‐to‐noise ratios and spatial resolution compared to 3‐T MRI and may improve diagnostic

Safety and Metabolic Effects of Withania somnifera Seed Extract and Powder in Rats: Insights From DPP‐4 Molecular Docking

open access: yesFood Safety and Health, EarlyView.
Withania somnifera seed extract and powder improved metabolic parameters in rats, particularly at higher extract doses, without evident hepatic, renal, hematological, or histopathological toxicity. Molecular docking further predicted strong DPP‐4 inhibitory potential of withanone, supporting the antidiabetic potential of W. somnifera seeds.

A Generic Module System forWeb Rule Languages: Divide and Rule [PDF]

open access: yes, 2007
An essential feature in practically usable programming languages is the ability to encapsulate functionality in reusable modules. Modules make large scale projects tractable by humans. For Web and Semantic Web programming, many rule-based languages, e.
