An aminostratigraphy of the northern Upper Rhine Graben, Germany

ABSTRACT The northern Upper Rhine Graben (Germany) contains a complex, quasi‐continuous Quaternary record, but constraining its chronology is challenging. This study presents the first application of amino acid geochronology for this region using Bithynia opercula to establish a relative dating framework.

Taxonomic revision and dissolution of the genus Monachoides (Gastropoda, Stylommatophora)

Abstract Monachoides is a genus of medium‐sized European land snails in the family Hygromiidae. Systematics of this family was until recently based on traits of the genital system that were shown to be uninformative, resulting in revisions of classifications at the genus and family levels.
