Equivariant Nonautonomous Normal Forms

Qualitative Theory of Dynamical Systems, 2021
For a nonautonomous dynamics with discrete time, the authors show that if the dynamics is equivariant (respectively, reversible), then any normal form, as well as the coordinate change bringing the dynamics into this normal form, have equivariance (respectively, reversibility) properties.

Maximal Monoids of Normal Form

Fundamenta Informaticae, 1982
In this paper, a characterization of the sets of normal forms which are monoids with respect to the composition combinator is obtained as application of the type theory to λ-calculus developed in [5]. The main result is that there is a monoid of normal form which is maximal in the sense that all extensions lead to terms without normal forms.

Jordan Normal Form

2012
The goal of this chapter is a more complete study of linear transformations of a complex or real vector space to itself, including the investigation of nondiagonalizable transformations. The Jordan normal forms for complex and real vector spaces are established.

Code Normal Forms

29th Annual IEEE/NASA Software Engineering Workshop, 2006
Because of their strong economic impact, complexity and maintainability are among the most widely used terms in software engineering. But, they are also among the most weakly understood. A multitude of software metrics attempts to analyze complexity and a proliferation of different definitions of maintainability can be found in text books and corporate
