Dynamical Order Assignment and Normalization
2010It has been demonstrated by classical control that derivative feedback is very essential for improving the stability and the performance of a control system. For descriptor systems, derivative feedback is even more important since it can alter many properties of a descriptor system, which a pure proportional state feedback can not.

Order Statistics of Normal Variables
1990The theory and applications of order statistics have been studied extensively in the literature, a convenient reference is David (1981). In this chapter we present some results concerning the distributions and moments of order statistics when the parent distribution is multivariate normal.

On the normal distribution of order r
1980The method of maximum entropy is used in order to drive the normal distributions of order $r$ (see [2] and the references quoted therein).
