Normal Fetal Structural Ultrasound
2017Morphological ultrasound includes a systematic and organized study of each fetal segment to make a detailed description of most of the fetal anatomy and attachments (amniotic fluid, cord, and placenta).

The Jordan-Holder Theorem for Artinian Groups is a simple application of the poset-theoretic Jordan-Holder Theorem expounded in Chap. 2. A discussion of commutator identities is exploited in defining the derived series and solvability as well as in defining the upper and lower central series and nilpotence.

Normal type structures and superreflexivity
1985It has recently been proved that in any Banach space uniformly normal structure (UNS) implies reflexivity. Here it is proved that in Banach spaces with l.u.st. (local unconditional structure), UNS implies also superreflexivity. An example shows that the analogous result does not hold for a property of normal type, weaker than UNS, which still is known ...

The exocrine pancreas is a compound acinar gland, that is, it is formed by the branching of its main duct into subdivisions into which secretory units discharge their product. The secretory unit is the acinus and groups of acini form lobules that are surrounded by, and separated from neighbouring lobules by, delicate connective tissue septa (Fig. 2.1).

Normal Saccadic Structure of Voluntary Nystagmus
Archives of Ophthalmology, 1977Infrared oculographic recordings in three cases showed that voluntary nystagmus is composed of rapidly alternating small-amplitude saccades with normal velocity-amplitude characteristics. These bursts of reciprocating saccades are routinely associated with oscillopsia.

Normalized data base structure
Proceedings of the 1971 ACM SIGFIDET (now SIGMOD) Workshop on Data Description, Access and Control - SIGFIDET '71, 1971Casual and other users of large formatted data bases need a simple tabular (relational) view of the data rather than a network or tree-structured view. This paper illustrates the removal of repeating groups, hierarchic and plex structures, and cross-referencing structures. Finally, the simplification of data base relations by normalization is discussed.
