High light exposure triggers an epidermis‐specific remodeling of mitochondria and ER in Arabidopsis, driven by chloroplast‐derived signals. Live‐cell imaging shows that HL rapidly suppresses mitochondrial motility, followed by fusion‐driven elongation and ER cisternal expansion.

Derive predicted livestock mortality index [PDF]
This document briefly explains how predicted livestock mortality index is derived. First, we explain how and why we have separate index-based livestock insurance (IBLI) contracts across Marsabit.

Influence of tree species complexity on discrimination performance of vegetation indices [PDF]
Performance of different vegetation indices (VIs) in combination with single- and multipleendmember (SEM and MEM) for discriminating Corsican and Scots pines with different ages and Broadleaves tree species is demonstrated by using an airborne ...

Investigation of Vegetation Dynamics using Long-Term Normalized Difference Vegetation Index Time-Series [PDF]
Problem statement: The Normalized Difference Vegetation Index (NDVI) is the most extensively used satellite-derived index of vegetat ion health and density. Since climate is one of the most important factors affecting vegetation conditi on, satellite-derived vegetation indexes have been often used to evaluate climatic and environmental c hanges at ...

GbWAKL20 Phosphorylates GbNFYB8 to Modulate Verticillium Wilt Resistance in Cotton
Wall‐associated receptor‐like kinases (WAKLs) play pivotal roles in extracellular–intracellular signal transduction. Upon sensing Verticillium dahliae infestation at the plasma membrane, GbWAKL20 accumulates and transmits signals to the nucleus via endoplasmic reticulum‐mediated Golgi vesicle transport.

Comparison of Normalized Difference Vegetation Index (NDVI) of Potato from Greenseeker and Landsat Satellite [PDF]
Introduction Field management is a part of precision agriculture (PA) which has positive environmental and economic effects on quality of plant productions. Nitrogen needs of plant, depends on climate conditions and growing pattern.

This study identifies a novel thermoregulatory mechanism in rice: TOGR3 partners with 26S proteasome subunits, including TT1, to drive thermoresponsive ubiquitin–proteasome activity, maintaining sugar homeostasis in stomatal regulation to balance growth and stress resistance.

Compartmentalized Homeostasis Drives High Bamboo Forest Productivity under Nutrient Imbalance
This study reveals how Moso bamboo achieves high productivity despite nutrient‐poor soils. It employs a unique strategy, maintaining strict nutrient balance in its leaves while using woody tissues as flexible storage reservoirs. This compartmentalized mechanism buffers the plant from soil phosphorus limitation and microbial competition, resolving the ...

Complex responses of spring vegetation growth to climate in a moisture-limited alpine meadow. [PDF]
Since 2000, the phenology has advanced in some years and at some locations on the Qinghai-Tibetan Plateau, whereas it has been delayed in others. To understand the variations in spring vegetation growth in response to climate, we conducted both regional ...
