Sequence determinants of RNA G‐quadruplex unfolding by Arg‐rich regions
We show that Arg‐rich peptides selectively unfold RNA G‐quadruplexes, but not RNA stem‐loops or DNA/RNA duplexes. This length‐dependent activity is inhibited by acidic residues and is conserved among SR and SR‐related proteins (SRSF1, SRSF3, SRSF9, U1‐70K, and U2AF1).

Normalized solutions to nonautonomous Kirchhoff equation
<p>In this paper, we studied the existence of normalized solutions to the following Kirchhoff equation with a perturbation:</p><p><disp-formula> <label/> <tex-math id="FE1"> \begin{document}$ \left\{ \begin{aligned} &-\left(a+b\int _{\mathbb{R}^{N}}\left | \nabla u \right|^{2} dx\right)\Delta u+\lambda u =

Bone metastasis in prostate cancer (PCa) patients is a clinical hurdle due to the poor understanding of the supportive bone microenvironment. Here, we identify stearoyl‐CoA desaturase (SCD) as a tumor‐promoting enzyme and potential therapeutic target in bone metastatic PCa.

Normalized solutions of Schrödinger equations involving Moser-Trudinger critical growth
In this article, we are concerned with the nonlinear Schrödinger equation −Δu+λu=μ∣u∣p−2u+f(u),inR2,-\Delta u+\lambda u=\mu {| u| }^{p-2}u+f\left(u),\hspace{1em}\hspace{0.1em}\text{in}\hspace{0.1em}\hspace{0.33em}{{\mathbb{R}}}^{2}, having prescribed ...

We reconstituted Synechocystis glycogen synthesis in vitro from purified enzymes and showed that two GlgA isoenzymes produce glycogen with different architectures: GlgA1 yields denser, highly branched glycogen, whereas GlgA2 synthesizes longer, less‐branched chains.

Normal solutions of linear programs [PDF]
The author introduces the definition of normal solution to a linear program, which is an exact solution with some least norm property if the linear program is solvable, otherwise an approximate solution with some least norm property also. By considering normal solutions we are led to (i) iterative successive overrelaxation (SOR) methods capable of ...

We identified a systemic, progressive loss of protein S‐glutathionylation—detected by nonreducing western blotting—alongside dysregulation of glutathione‐cycle enzymes in both neuronal and peripheral tissues of Taiwanese SMA mice. These alterations were partially rescued by SMN antisense oligonucleotide therapy, revealing persistent redox imbalance as ...

The existence of ground state normalized solution for mass supercritical modified Kirchhoff equation
In this paper, we focus on the existence of ground state solution with prescribed L2-norm for the following modified Kirchhoff problem: −a+b∫RN|∇u|2dxΔu−uΔ(u2)−λu=|u|p−2u,x∈RN,where N=2,3, a,b>0 are constants, p∈4+4N,2∗, 2∗=6 if N=3, and 2∗=+∞ if N=2. By

Regularity of solutions of the parabolic normalized p-Laplace equation
The parabolic normalized p-Laplace equation is studied. We prove that a viscosity solution has a time derivative in the sense of Sobolev belonging locally to L2{L^{2}}.
