Interfacial Bioengineering of Dynamic Networks Hybrid Hydrogel for Programmed Intervention in Oral Precancerous Epithelial States

open access: yesAdvanced Healthcare Materials, EarlyView.
This study develops a dual‐bioinspired hydrogel, MSA@PGel (macrophage membrane‐coated and salvianolic acid B/5‐aminolevulinic acid co‐loaded liposomes embedded in a polydopamine‐based gel), that integrates macrophage membrane‐mediated active targeting and mussel‐inspired wet adhesion for programmed intervention in oral precancerous lesions.

Relationships among leadership, organizational commitment, and ocb in uruguayan health institutions [PDF]

open access: yes
We develop and test a model that relates leadership behaviors, organizational commitment, and organizational citizenship behaviors (OCBs). We test the model using structural equations with a sample of 116 doctors from Uruguay.

Commitments in Groups and Commitments of Groups [PDF]

open access: yes, 2015
I argue that a group can have normative commitments, and that the commitment of a group is not merely a sum or aggregate of the commitments of individual group members.

Start, Stop, Rewind, Repeat—Cyclic Exposure of Adipose Stromal Cells‐derived Cartilage Organoids to Chondrogenic and Proliferative Cues to Achieve Scaled‐up and Customizable Bone Formation by Endochondral Ossification

open access: yesAdvanced Healthcare Materials, EarlyView.
This study exploits the plasticity of ASCs‐derived cartilage organoids which generate a perichondrial layer of MSCs when exposed to cyclic chondrogenic/proliferative cues. Using these organoids as building blocks, we develop (i) Phalange Shaped Tissue Engineered Cartilage (Pa‐TECs), recapitulating endochondral ossification suitable for the treatment of

Ultrasound‐Triggered Nanobubbles for Endothelial‐Targeted Drug Delivery in the Detection and Treatment of Doxorubicin‐Induced Cardiotoxicity

open access: yesAdvanced Healthcare Materials, EarlyView.
The DA/VTP‐NBs selectively recognized cardiac ECs damaged by DIC and achieved cell‐level targeted imaging. Then US‐triggered controlled release successfully enabled the release of DAPA within the DA/VTP‐NBs at the site of injury. This precise on‐demand drug release approach amplifies a series of localized therapeutic effects through the mtDNA‐mediated ...

Beyond Presumptions: Toward Mechanistic Clarity in Metal‐Free Carbon Catalysts for Electrochemical H2O2 Production via Data Science

open access: yesAdvanced Materials, EarlyView.
Metal‐free carbon catalysts enable the sustainable synthesis of hydrogen peroxide via two‐electron oxygen reduction; however, active site complexity continues to hinder reliable interpretation. This review critiques correlation‐based approaches and highlights the importance of orthogonal experimental designs, standardized catalyst passports ...

A commitment account of norm externalisation [PDF]

open access: yesBiology & Philosophy
Abstract One of the distinctive features of some norms is thought to be their externalised character. To say that a norm is externalised is to say that it is experienced as imposed on us from the outside and exacting a demand on all, regardless of their group (Stanford in Behav Brain Sci 14:1–13, 2018a).

Topology and Material Optimization in Ultra‐Soft Magneto‐Active Structures: Making Advantage of Residual Anisotropies

open access: yesAdvanced Materials, EarlyView.
Residual magnetization induces pronounced mechanical anisotropy in ultra‐soft magnetorheological elastomers, shaping deformation and actuation even without external magnetic fields. This study introduces a computational‐experimental framework integrating magneto‐mechanical coupling into topology optimization for designing soft magnetic actuators with ...
