Improved Direct Ink Writing of Liquid Metal Foams via Liquid Additives
The ability to pattern liquid metal is useful for making soft electrical and thermal devices. Dispensing liquid metal from a nozzle naturally results in the formation of spheroidal droplets, making direct‐write printing challenging. Liquid metal foams containing pockets of air can extrude as filaments, albeit inconsistently.

Algae, Macroinvertebrates, and Water Quality Relationships at North Campus Open Space
This poster was presented at the 2024 UCSB EEMB Research symposium.Algae plays a crucial role in aquatic ecosystems, serving as both a primary producer through photosynthesis and a food source and habitat for macroinvertebrates, which in turn supports larger organisms.

ABSTRACT This study investigates how consumer taste and brand equity perceptions shape the acceptance of plant‐based milk products. Using a blind/informed tasting experiment, we evaluated consumers' willingness to buy (WTB) and taste perception of a plant‐based milk alternative produced by a traditional dairy brand, compared with competing plant‐based ...

Large‐Scale Machine Learning to Screen for Small‐Molecule Senolytics
A consistent workflow underpins all experiments in this study. A dedicated model‐selection dataset first identifies optimal hyperparameters for each algorithm. Models are then trained and rigorously evaluated on independent sets of molecules using the senolytic ratio SR. Comprehensive hyperparameter exploration across SMILES representations, task types,
