2012Global warming and climate change is getting ever more concern. The last two decades were declared to be the warmest since the beginning of meteorological measurements. The same trend is visible in the Rijeka meteorological data, as a part of a longer series, i.e. 1977-2010, since the relocation of meteorological station (120 m a.s.l).

Cremation burials in Northern Croatia 1300-750 BC
2013The recent investigations at several sites in northern Croatioa led to a discovery of cemeteries with cremation burials in urns, in grave pit and under tumuli which can be dated to the younger phase of the Urnfield culture. Their appearance is deeply rooted in the method of burial of various communities of the Urnfield culture in north Croatia.

Neolithic-Eneolithic transition in the Northern part of Croatia
2007The Late Neolithic and Early Eneolithic periods in the northern Croatia were marked by the Sopot and Lasinja Cultures. The aim of the papar is to use recently obtained radiocarbon dates from recent field research to shed some light on the development and the time span of those two cultures in northern Croatia.
