Abstract Decision‐makers are under pressure to take transformative action to address the biodiversity crisis. Scenarios can inform these decisions by exploring alternative future states of the world influencing biodiversity loss and the outcomes of actions to address it.

Plant biostimulants are substances that are obtained from a variety of sources and are applied in minute quantities to enhance plant growth and vigor. In this review we detail how the use of plant biostimulants may contribute to efforts to achieving a number of the UN Sustainable Development Goals.

Pro‐197 mutations confer resistance to thiencarbazone but not to foramsulfuron in ALS‐resistant Poa annua populations

Foramsulfuron remains effective on Pro‐197 Poa annua, but co‐formulation with thiencarbazone reduces efficacy due to limited activity and antagonism. Therefore, foramsulfuron + thiencarbazone should be used in fields without ALS‐resistant weeds to ensure effective in‐crop control.
