Global, Regional, and National Epidemiology of Pediatric Stroke, 1990–2021: A Systematic Analysis From the Global Burden of Disease Study

In 2021, the burden of pediatric stroke varied substantially across countries and regions. China and India had the highest prevalence, while India and Nigeria accounted for disproportionately high DALYs, indicating greater health loss per case. Marked geographic disparities underscore the need for region‐specific strategies.
