Influence of captivity and selection on limb long bone cross‐sectional morphology of reindeer
Captivity and selection induce changes in body size, body mass and bone morphology of reindeer. Body mass and physical activity patterns strongly affected the cortical bone thickness variations. Bone cross‐sections provide information on reindeer behavioural changes induced by humain domestication.
