We give an exact result about the asymptotic limit of an oscillatory integral whose phase contains a certain flat term. Corresponding to the real analytic phase case, one can see an essential difference in the behavior of the above oscillatory integral.

Aspects of Nosé and Nosé-Hoover Dynamics Elucidated [PDF]

Some paradoxical aspects of the Nos\'e and Nos\'e-Hoover dynamics of 1984 and Dettmann's dynamics of 1996 are elucidated. Phase-space descriptions of thermostated harmonic oscillator dynamics can be simultaneously expanding, incompressible, or contracting, as is described here by a variety of three- and four-dimensional phase-space models.

Unraveling the Interfacial Properties of Twisted Single‐Crystal Au(111)/MoS2 Heterostructures: A Pathway to Robust Superlubricity

Interfacial mechanical properties of MoS2/Au(111) heterostructures are revealed by advanced experimental and computational methods. The developed semi‐anisotropic interlayer potential (SAIP) accurately predicts moiré‐driven out‐of‐plane corrugation, aligning with experimental observations.
