Doğu Karadeniz Bölgesinioluşturan illerin, Arıcılık Kayıt sisteminde yer alan ve 50’den fazla koloniyesahip olan 209 arıcılık işletmesinden ilkbahar ve sonbahar dönemlerindebalarısı numuneleri alınmıştır. Alınan numuneler mikroskobik muayene yapılarakspor yönünden pozitif olanlar; spor sayımı, Giemsa boyama ve PCR yapılmıştır.

First molecular detection of Nosema ceranae in Turkey

Nosema ceranae Avrupa bal arılarının (Apis mellifera) önemli mikrosporidian parazitlerinden biridir. Bugüne kadar Türkiye’de N. ceranae’nın varlığı hakkında bilgi mevcut değildir. 2007 ve 2008 yıllarında laboratuvarımıza gönderilen iki arı kolonisine ait örneklerde mikroskobik olarak Nosema sp. teşhis edilmiştir.
