Renormalization of NoSQL Database Schemas
Lecture Notes in Computer Science, 2018NoSQL applications often use denormalized databases in order to meet performance goals, but this introduces complications as the database itself has no understanding of application-level denormalization. In this paper, we describe a procedure for reconstructing a normalized conceptual model from a denormalized NoSQL database.

In the past, relational databases were used in a large scope of applications due to their rich set of features, query capabilities and transaction management. However, they are not able to store and process big data effectively and are not very efficient to make transactions and join operations.

Non-Relational Database Management Systems (NoSQL) arise as an alternative solution to problems not efficiently solved by traditional Database Management Systems (DBMS). NoSQL, unlike the relational model, does not respond to a Data Base type, but represents a set of Database types, with different implementations and characteristics to represent the ...

NoSQL database provides a mechanism for storage and access of data across multiple storage clusters. NoSQL dabases are finding significant and growing industry to meet the huge data storage requirements of Big data, real time applications, and Cloud Computing. NoSQL databases have lots of advantages over the conventional RDBMS features.

Security Issues in NoSQL Databases
2011IEEE 10th International Conference on Trust, Security and Privacy in Computing and Communications, 2011applications has created the need to store large amount of data in distributed databases that provide high availability and scalability. In recent years, a growing number of companies have adopted various types of non-relational databases, commonly referred to as NoSQL databases, and as the applications they serve emerge, they gain extensive market ...

NoSQL Undo: Recovering NoSQL databases by undoing operations
2016 IEEE 15th International Symposium on Network Computing and Applications (NCA), 2016NoSQL databases offer high throughput, support for huge data structures, and capacity to scale horizontally at the expense of not supporting relational data, ACID consistency and a standard SQL syntax. Due to their simplicity and flexibility, NoSQL databases are becoming very popular among web application developers.

Introduction to DBMS, RDBMS, and NoSQL Database: NoSQL Database Challenges
SSRN Electronic Journal, 2021In today’s Web world, we see that the data production has been enormous, and organizations also face tough challenge in terms of processing, analyzing, and storing big data. The issue faced by organizations was how to manage the data which was not in a fixed schema which is also called unstructured data.
