An investigation of the sound of foam and its potential influence on the shampoo experience

This study investigates shampoo foam acoustics' impact on hair washing experience using binaural recordings and psychoacoustic analysis. Distinct foam sound profiles elicited varying emotional responses; early lathering induced negative emotions while later phases were positive.
