Micorrizas y levaduras asociadas a Nothofagus nervosa (Phil.) Dim. et Mil. (Raulí) en poblaciones naturales y en plantas cultivadas en vivero

open access: yes, 2012

The First Network of Tree-Ring Chronologies for Co-Occurring Nothofagus nervosa and Nothofagus obliqua along a Precipitation Gradient in Patagonia, Argentina

Tree-Ring Research, 2022
We present the first network of tree-ring chronologies for co-occurring Nothofagus nervosa and Nothofagus obliqua in Argentina. Using standard dendrochronological techniques, we developed seven tree-ring width chronologies for each species, encompassing their E-W distribution along a precipitation gradient.

Heterogeneous genetic structure in a natural population of Raulí (Nothofagus nervosa) [PDF]

open access: yesCiencia E Investigacion Agraria, 2011
Heterozygote deficiencies in natural populations of outbreeding tree species are common and thought to be due mainly to biparental inbreeding. Inbreeding is believed to be caused by family structure within populations, a product of limited seed dispersal and probably limited pollen dispersal.

Ectomycorrhizas Naturally Established in Nothofagus nervosa Seedlings Under Different Cultivation Practices in a Forest Nursery

open access: yesMicrobial Ecology, 2013
Mycorrhizas are mutualistic associations between soil fungi and plant roots which usually improve water and nutrient uptake, influencing plant fitness. Nothofagus nervosa (Raulí) is an ecologically and economically important species of South American temperate forests.
