Immunologic Profiling Suggests an Association Between Treg Cell Dysfunction and Pain in Knee Osteoarthritis

Objective Pain is the hallmark symptom of osteoarthritis (OA), and its biologic drivers remain poorly understood. Although the role of innate immunity in OA has been extensively studied, the involvement of adaptive immunity, in particular Treg cells, is not well understood.

Defining Optimally Safe and Effective Blood Levels of Hydroxychloroquine in Lupus: An Important Step Toward Precision Drug Monitoring

Objective Using a hydroxychloroquine (HCQ) dose of 5 mg/kg/day in systemic lupus erythematosus (SLE) is associated with a higher risk of flares; HCQ blood level monitoring could be a better way to adjust the HCQ dose. We studied the upper threshold for a reference range of HCQ levels to inform routine monitoring.

ABSTRACT Autism spectrum disorder (ASD) is characterized by impaired social interactions and communication, and increased repetitive and stereotypical behavior. Neuroimaging shows functional abnormalities in brain areas involved in temporal processing in autistic individuals, and they also show deficits in interval timing.

In the diabetic environment, NETs undergo complex metabolic and immune reprogramming, leading to dynamic changes in antibacterial and proinflammatory functions, and affecting regeneration of multiple systemic tissues.
