Stellae novae

open access: yesPrilozi za istraživanje hrvatske filozofske baštine, 1998
The paper evokes some of the early insights into the essence of the process of world image transformation in the Renaissance, painting at the fact that the analysis of several Renaissance (Neo )Platonists' works (Cusa, Petrić, Bruno) shows that the preconditions of their changed views and interpretations of the world laid in the domain of ...

Dead Matter, Living Machines: Repurposing Crustaceans' Abdomen Exoskeleton for Bio‐Hybrid Robots

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
Crustacean exoskeletons, repurposed from food waste, are engineered into sustainable bending actuators combining biotic structure with synthetic control. The augmented exoskeletons achieve rapid and robust motion with lightweight body and can be used as part of robotic manipulators, grippers and swimmers.

Cation Substitution in High‐Entropy Layered Double Hydroxide Driving D‐Band Center Tuning for Oxygen Evolution Reaction

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
The d‐band center position of layered double hydroxide is adjusted via multication insertion in the octahedral site. The optimal position of the d‐band, near the Fermi level, enhances OER performance through optimal OH− adsorption kinetics, resulting in a 55% reduction in overpotential compared to the native catalyst.

Atomic‐Scale Mechanisms of Multi‐Resistance States in HfOx‐Based RRAM: Evolution of Atomic Electric Fields and Oxygen Vacancies

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
Atomic‐scale mechanisms governing multilevel resistive switching in HfOx‐based RRAM are reveal through advanced TEM. Thermally driven m‐phase rotation ([101]↔[011]) enables selective oxygen vacancy migration, which reconstructs atomic electric fields and dictates conduction—from Schottky/Poole‐Frenkel emission to Ohmic transport.

Phocaeicola coprophilus‐Derived 6‐Methyluracil Attenuates Radiation‐Induced Intestinal Fibrosis by Suppressing the IDO1‐Kynurenine‐AHR Axis

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
IR‐induced dysbiosis depletes P. coprophilus and its metabolite 6‐methyluracil, leading to disinhibition of the IDO1‐Kyn‐AHR axis. This results in sustained fibroblast activation and collagen deposition, driving radiation induced intestinal fibrosis. ABSTRACT Therapeutic options for radiation‐induced intestinal fibrosis (RIF) remain limited. This study

Nova indústria i nova política industrial

open access: yesParadigmes: economia productiva i coneixement, 2009
