Ars Nova [Ars Nova]

open access: yes, 2001
«ARS NOVA» – ансамбль ударних інструментів. Засн. 1989 в Києві у складі: Г. Черненко , О. Соколов, В. Третяк, Н. Косинська, О. Томчук; працювали також С. Хмельов , Г. Хлопов , В. Поляков . Своєрідність ансамблю виявляється у новому ставленні до ударних інструментів, які не тракту... ⚠️ Цей запис містить лише бібліографічні метадані.

A 9 Month Hubble Space Telescope Near-UV Survey of M87. II. A Strongly Enhanced Nova Rate near the Jet of M87

open access: yesThe Astrophysical Journal
The 135 classical novae that we have discovered in M87 with two Hubble Space Telescope imaging surveys appear to be strongly concentrated along that galaxy’s jet.

Symbiotic Nova PU Vul - 33 Years of Observations

open access: yesOpen Astronomy, 2012
We present UBVRI light curves of the symbiotic nova PU Vul after its outburst in 1978. Three observed eclipses of the hot component by the cool one were used to determine the ephemeris of the binary system as JD (Min I) = 2444550(15) + 4897(10) × E days.

Electric‐Current‐Induced Phase Transformation in Cu6Sn5 Below Its Equilibrium Transition Temperature

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
Electric current induces a monoclinic‐to‐hexagonal phase transformation in Cu6Sn5 at a measured bulk temperature of ∼120°C, below the equilibrium transition temperature. Ex situ synchrotron x‐ray diffraction, TEM, and matched thermal controls show that current stressing promotes the formation of a retained hexagonal η‐phase post‐stress state not ...

A Composite Light Curve Model of the Symbiotic Nova PU Vul (1979)

open access: yesOpen Astronomy, 2012
PU Vul (1979) is a symbiotic nova that shows a long-lasting flat optical peak followed by a slow decline. We made a quasi-evolution model for outbursts on a 0.6 M⊙ white dwarf consisting of a series of static solutions with optically-thin winds.

Pathogen‐Centric Activation of an Azoreductase‐Responsive Antibody‐Antibiotic Conjugate for the Targeted Eradication of MRSA

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
A pathogen‐centric antibody‐antibiotic conjugate (AZO‐AAC) releases antibiotics via bacterial azoreductase, independent of host‐lysosomal function. This mechanism achieves nanomolar eradication of both planktonic and intracellular methicillin‐resistant Staphylococcus aureus (MRSA).

Evolution of cataclysmic variables under different magnetic braking prescriptions

open access: yesAstronomy & Astrophysics
Context. The evolution of cataclysmic variables (CVs) – interacting binaries where a low-mass donor transfers matter to a white dwarf via an accretion disk – is critically controlled by magnetic braking (MB).

MiR‐940 Suppresses Ferroptosis by Controlling Expression of Key Regulatory Genes

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
A CRISPR‐based screening identified miR‐940 as a critical suppressor of ferroptosis in cancer. By coordinating the downregulation of pro‐ferroptotic genes with the upregulation of GPX4, miR‐940 establishes a regulatory network that protects against ferroptosis and correlates with poor clinical outcomes in distinct cancer entities.

The NuSTAR view of ultra-compact X-ray binaries

open access: yesAstronomy & Astrophysics
Ultra-compact X-ray binaries (UCXBs) are a subclass of low-mass X-ray binaries (LMXBs) characterised by tight orbits and hydrogen-poor donor stars. We present a spectral and timing study in the hard X-ray band of 11 of the 20 confirmed UCXBs, based on 37
