Structures of Novel Diselenadiazolyls
Phosphorus, Sulfur, and Silicon and the Related Elements, 2001A series of fluorinated diselenadiazolyls (p-XC6F4CNSeSeN, X = NC, F, Cl, Br) have been synthesised and show an unusual mode of association (X = Cl, Br) in the solid state which has been investigated by Density Functional Theory. Their magnetic behaviour has also been investigated and have been shown to be essentially diamagnetic.

A Novel Structure Digital Receiver
2018This paper studies a novel structure digital receiver to demodulate signal with large frequency offset. When the carrier frequency offset is large, the matched filter will filter out part of the in-band signal, resulting in decrease of SNR and deterioration of BER. Different from traditional receiver structure, the novel receiver put a coarse frequency

Reconstruction for novel sampling structures
1997 IEEE International Conference on Acoustics, Speech, and Signal Processing, 2002We examine the problem of reconstructing a signal from periodic non-uniform samples, i.e. a uniform train from which samples are deleted in some periodic fashion. We develop a condition previously derived by Herley and Wong (see Proc. IEEE Int. Conf. Image Proc., 1996) and examine its implications.

A Novel Hybrid Structure for Clustering
2008Conventional clustering methods such as k-means or subtractive clustering need some information include the optimal number of clusters, otherwise, they lead to the poor results. However in many practical situations it is often so difficult to determine the best number of clusters.

Novel polyhydronaphthalenic structures
Tetrahedron Letters, 1981Abstract Novel 1,7-dihydro- or 1,2,6,7-tetrahydronaphthalene derivatives were obtained from naphthalene through a polysilylation/oxidation process as well as 1,4,6,7-tetrakis(trimethylsily)naphthalene, a regiospecific precursor of 1,4,6,7-tetrafunctional naphthalenes.

Structure of a novel polyimide
Journal of Polymer Science Part A-2: Polymer Physics, 1968AbstractThe product of the thermal polymerization of ß‐carboxymethyl caprolactam has been identified as a poly[(2,6‐dioxo‐1,4‐piperidinediyl)trimethylene]. An indication of various chain conformations has been explained by the possible existence of two different conformations of the dioxopiperidine moiety.

Current deep trench etch systems are able to etch two micron wide features ten’s of microns deep into a silicon substrate. Conformal chemical vapor deposition (CVD) processes are readily able to fill the trenches with reasonable deposition thickness by growing from the sidewalls in.

A novel structural motif and structural trees for proteins containing it
Biochemistry (Moscow), 2010In the present study, a novel structural motif that can be represented as a combination of the known betaalphabeta-unit and psi-motif is described and analyzed. In theory, there are four possible combinations of the motifs since each of them can exist in two forms, left-handed and right-handed.

Targeting novel folds for structural genomics
Proteins: Structure, Function, and Bioinformatics, 2002Abstract The ultimate goal of structural genomics is to obtain the structure of each protein coded by each gene within a genome to determine gene function. Because of cost and time limitations, it remains impractical to solve the structure for every gene product experimentally.

A Novel Photonic Bandgap (PBG) Structure
2001 31st European Microwave Conference, 2001A novel one-dimensional (1-D) photonic bandgap (PBG) structure for microstrip lines is proposed. This new circuit is consisting of cross-gaps and base-to-base triangles etched in the ground plane of microstrip line. The PBG structures were designed and fabricated with different dimensions.
