MixNeRF: Modeling a Ray with Mixture Density for Novel View Synthesis from Sparse Inputs [PDF]
Neural Radiance Field (NeRF) has broken new ground in the novel view synthesis due to its simple concept and state-of-the-art quality. However, it suffers from severe performance degradation unless trained with a dense set of images with different camera

Liquid Warping GAN: A Unified Framework for Human Motion Imitation, Appearance Transfer and Novel View Synthesis [PDF]
We tackle the human motion imitation, appearance transfer, and novel view synthesis within a unified framework, which means that the model once being trained can be used to handle all these tasks.

Novel View Synthesis of Dynamic Scenes With Globally Coherent Depths From a Monocular Camera [PDF]
This paper presents a new method to synthesize an image from arbitrary views and times given a collection of images of a dynamic scene. A key challenge for the novel view synthesis arises from dynamic scene reconstruction where epipolar geometry does not

Deep Learning based Novel View Synthesis
Predicting novel views of a scene from real-world images has always been a challenging task. In this work, we propose a deep convolutional neural network (CNN) which learns to predict novel views of a scene from given collection of images. In comparison to prior deep learning based approaches, which can handle only a fixed number of input images to ...

Novel View Synthesis of Humans Using Differentiable Rendering
We present a new approach for synthesizing novel views of people in new poses. Our novel differentiable renderer enables the synthesis of highly realistic images from any viewpoint. Rather than operating over mesh-based structures, our renderer makes use of diffuse Gaussian primitives that directly represent the underlying skeletal structure of a human.

NeRF in the Palm of Your Hand: Corrective Augmentation for Robotics via Novel-View Synthesis [PDF]
Expert demonstrations are a rich source of supervision for training visual robotic manipulation policies, but imitation learning methods often require either a large number of demonstrations or expensive online expert supervision to learn reactive closed-

Novel view synthesis for stereoscopic cinema [PDF]
Novel view synthesis methods consist in using several images or video sequences of the same scene, and creating new images of this scene, as if they were taken by a camera placed at a dierent viewpoint. They can be used in stereoscopic cinema to change the camera parameters (baseline, vergence, focal length...) a posteriori, or to adapt a stereoscopic ...

V4D: Voxel for 4D Novel View Synthesis
Neural radiance fields have made a remarkable breakthrough in the novel view synthesis task at the 3D static scene. However, for the 4D circumstance (e.g., dynamic scene), the performance of the existing method is still limited by the capacity of the neural network, typically in a multilayer perceptron network (MLP).
