Chemical nonlinearities in relating intercontinental ozone pollution to anthropogenic emissions [PDF]
Model studies typically estimate intercontinental influence on surface ozone by perturbing emissions from a source continent and diagnosing the ozone response in the receptor continent.

Tailored Catalytic Microenvironments Enable Efficient Electrochemical Ammonia Production
This study shows that Co2+ substitution in inverse spinel FeFeCoO4 constructs an integrated catalytic microenvironment for efficient nitrate‐to‐ammonia reduction. Jahn–Teller distortion activates Fe sites for *H generation, while hard–soft acid–base regulated dual‐metal sites optimize proton‐coupled electron transfer and intermediate adsorption ...

Robust control applied to minimize NOx emissions [PDF]
— Legislation concerning pollutant emissions of diesel passenger cars is becoming increasingly restrictive, especially for nitrogen oxide (NOx) and particulate matter (PM). This article proposes to apply a CRONE control design methodology on a diesel engine in order to adapt the air-path and fuel-path of the engine and minimize NOx emissions.

Influence of CeO2 on NOx emission during iron ore sintering
The evolution of NOx during coke combustion in the presence and absence of CeO2 was studied in a quartz fixed bed reactor. The distribution of CeO2 in the coke was examined by SEM.

Inspired by Nitrite reductase, a metal–organic framework overlayer is introduced to regulate the interfacial hydration microenvironment on Cu electrodes, enriching hydrated K+ species that act as efficient proton donors. This strategy enables nitrate‐to‐ammonia conversion with near‐unity selectivity at industrial‐level current densities in neutral ...

Principle of NOx Formation and Reduction Technology and Stabilization of NOx Emission

The impact of air pollutant and methane emission controls on tropospheric ozone and radiative forcing: CTM calculations for the period 1990-2030 [PDF]
To explore the relationship between tropospheric ozone and radiative forcing with changing emissions, we compiled two sets of global scenarios for the emissions of the ozone precursors methane (CH4), carbon monoxide (CO), non-methane volatile organic ...

An interpretable machine learning framework integrating SHAP and PDP analysis identifies critical design descriptors from 139 physicochemical features for Nb─Si alloys. The framework achieves <7% prediction error and guides the discovery of Nb38.5Ti38.5Si3Zr18V2 alloy with 22.791 MPa·m1/2 fracture toughness, breaking the 20 MPa·m1/2 barrier.
