Research on the mechanism of neutral-point voltage fluctuation and capacitor voltage balancing control strategy of three-phase three-level T-type inverter [PDF]

open access: yes, 2017
In order to solve the neutral-point voltage fluctuation problem of three-phase threelevel T-type inverters (TPTLTIs), the unbalance characteristics of capacitor voltages under different switching states and the mechanism of neutral-point voltage ...

An Interline Dynamic Voltage Restorer Using Neutral-Point-Clamped (NPC) Multilevel Converter

open access: yesAdvances in Electrical and Electronic Engineering, 2018
Because of increased number of sensitive loads and automated processes in industry, need for high quality power is nowadays inevitable. Deteriorated power quality my result in huge financial losses and also decreases the productivity. The power electronic based solutions for improving power quality have become more common in the recent years.

Biocompatible Magnetopyroelectric Composite Films for Cell Stimulation

open access: yesAdvanced Science, Volume 13, Issue 18, 27 March 2026.
Magnetopyroelectric films couple Fe3O4 nanoparticles with pyroelectric P(VDF‐TrFE) to turn alternating magnetic fields into controlled heat and pyroelectric currents. This heavy‐metal free platform safely boosts neural progenitor cells differentiation via synergistic thermal and pyroelectrical cues, engages AKT and calcium pathways, and opens practical

A Five‐Level Active Neutral‐Point‐Clamped Auxiliary Inverter Based on Reverse Blocking IGBT in Metro Applications

open access: yesIET Electric Power Applications, Volume 20, Issue 1, January/December 2026.
We propose a novel five‐level active‐neutral‐point‐clamped converter utilising reverse blocking IGBT (RB‐IGBT). The inverter configuration significantly reduces conduction losses, as only two switches are on the current paths in some switching states. We also propose an optimised state machine‐based modulation strategy.

Natural Soft‐Switching Extended Phase‐Shift Control of Dual Active Bridge for High‐Efficiency Battery Charging and Discharging

open access: yesIET Electric Power Applications, Volume 20, Issue 1, January/December 2026.
This paper adopts a Neutral‐Point‐Clamped H‐bridge (NPC‐H) DAB topology to mitigate voltage stress on the input‐side switches. For both charging and discharging scenarios, a direct current control method is proposed using the output current as the primary control variable.

Fault Diagnosis Methods Based on Fuzzy Logic and Artificial Neural Networks Approaches for Wind Turbine PWM Inverter

open access: yesIET Electric Power Applications, Volume 20, Issue 1, January/December 2026.
This study explores fault diagnosis methods for PWM inverters in a wind energy conversion system using a doubly fed induction generator. Two intelligent diagnostic techniques, fuzzy resonant logic and artificial neural networks, are proposed. The fuzzy logic method monitors inverter faults in real time, whereas the neural network method uses 3D feature
