A new Zero Voltage Switching three-level NPC inverter

2015 IEEE Applied Power Electronics Conference and Exposition (APEC), 2015
A novel Zero Voltage Switching (ZVS) three-level NPC inverter topology using a new ZVS Space Vector Modulation (SVM) scheme is proposed. A detailed operation analysis of ZVS three-level NPC inverter is given. The ZVS condition of the proposed ZVS inverter is derived and it can be achieved of all switches in the proposed inverter, which include both the

SVM algorithm of three-level NPC inverter

2008 3rd IEEE Conference on Industrial Electronics and Applications, 2008
On the basis of presenting the principles of space vector modulation (svm) of three-level neutral point clamped (NPC) inverter, an approach to implementation of SVM is proposed. The dwell times of vectors are calculated according to the volt-second balancing. A triangle is adopted to compare with three switching points.

Pole-restraining control for npc three-level inverter

2012 IEEE International Energy Conference and Exhibition (ENERGYCON), 2012
State-of-the-art control approaches often neglect the time-variant characteristics of power-electronic systems in favour of a time-averaged approach. In consequence, the resulting system is partly instable, thus, not optimally controlled. The pole-restraining control (PRC) removes the inherent instability, giving considerably improved dynamic behaviour

A SVPWM control strategy for NPC three-level inverter

2011 IEEE Power Engineering and Automation Conference, 2011
Based on six divided regions of space vectors, the potential position of the reference voltage vectors is firstly determined according to the principle of rotating vector normalization method. Then the effective time of three synthesized vectors is calculated by the principle of the volt-second balance principle.
