An Improved Finite-Set Predictive Control for Permanent Magnet Synchronous Motors Based on a Neutral-Point-Clamped Three-Level Inverter

open access: yesWorld Electric Vehicle Journal
Numerous voltage vectors exist in a neutral-point-clamped (NPC) three-level inverter. Traditional three-level model predictive control incurs a heavy online computational burden.

ADAR1 Controls Macrophage Scavenging and Lipid‐Buffering Programs in Metabolic Tissues

open access: yesEuropean Journal of Immunology, Volume 56, Issue 4, April 2026.
ADAR1 expression increase during monocyte‐to‐macrophage differentiation via an alternative transcription start site. Isoform‐specific ADAR1 activity governs key macrophage functions, including efferocytosis, endocytosis, lipid metabolism, and proliferation.

Dysregulation of Extracellular Vesicle Concentration, MicroRNAs, and Surface Proteins in Patients With Niemann‐Pick Disease Type C

open access: yesJournal of Extracellular Biology, Volume 5, Issue 4, April 2026.
ABSTRACT Niemann‐Pick disease type C (NPC) is a rare neurodegenerative disease primarily caused by mutations in the NPC1 gene, which is associated with cholesterol trafficking impairment, and disruption of endolysosomal processing and extracellular vesicles (EVs).

PRMT5 Methylates and Stabilizes EphA2 via Inhibiting Its Ubiquitination and Degradation to Promote Nasopharyngeal Carcinoma Stem Cell Properties

open access: yesMedComm, Volume 7, Issue 4, April 2026.
PRMT5 binds and methylates EphA2, which stabilizes EphA2 via inhibiting Cbl‐mediated EphA2 ubiquitination degradation to promote NPC stemness. PRMT5‐derived peptide P20 disrupts PRMT5–EphA2 interaction, which degrades EphA2 via enhancing Cbl‐mediated EphA2 ubiquitination degradation to suppress NPC stemness.

A carrier pulse width modulation for asymmetric three-level NPC inverter

open access: yesInternational Journal of Power Electronics and Drive Systems (IJPEDS)
The three-level neutral point clamped (NPC) inverters are widely used in practice. One of nowadays research trends of multilevel inverter topologies has been reduction of switch number. For this aim, this paper presents an asymmetric three level NPC inverter and study on output performance of phase disposition (PD) carrier pulse width modulation (CBPWM)
