Maximising trait evenness promotes the recovery of plant species richness in managed grasslands

open access: yesEcography, EarlyView.
Land‐use intensification threatens biodiversity, and restoring degraded ecosystems remains challenging due to the difficulty of identifying the rules governing community assembly and dynamics. Investigating the temporal dynamics of trait‐abundance distributions (TADs) along long‐term time series offers a promising approach to disentangle the influence ...

Effect of NPK and Bacillus-coated NPK fertilizer on biomass, nutrient content in soil and nutrient uptake by lettuce

open access: yesKultivasi, 2023
The Inoculation of beneficial soil microbes is an effective method for lowering doses of inorganic fertilizers. This study was aimed to observe and compare the effect of doses and formulas of Bacillus-coated NPK (BCN) and conventional NPK fertilizers on biomass, major macro-nutrient in soil and their uptake by shoots of lettuce (Lactuca sativa L.); as ...

Effect of bio‐fertilization and edapho‐climatic conditions on chickpea nodulation, grain yields, and seed protein in a Mediterranean context: a meta‐analysis approach

open access: yesJournal of the Science of Food and Agriculture, EarlyView.
Abstract Chickpeas (Cicer arietinum L.) serve as a protein‐rich staple, particularly in Mediterranean countries, where they are often grown in marginal and water‐stressed areas. This meta‐analysis synthesized evidence from peer‐reviewed publications across Mediterranean countries to assess how chickpea rhizobial inoculation influences chickpea ...

NPK Fertilization of Cilantro and Dill

open access: yesHortScience, 1995
Two experiments, one each with cilantro and dill, were conducted during 1994 to determine optimum rates of N, P, and K fertilizers. In these experiments, `C1410' cilantro and `Bouquet' dill were direct seeded in three-row plots with 0.3-m spacing between rows. A seeding rate of ≈40 seeds per meter of row length was used.
