NP for Combinatorialists

Abstract We show that every NP problem is polynomially equivalent to a simple combinatorial problem: the membership problem for a special class of digraphs. These classes are defined by means of shadows and by finitely many forbidden colored subgraphs.

An epithelial GPR35 isoform supports tumor‐associated transcriptional and metabolic phenotypes

GPR35 generates two functionally distinct isoforms with previously unresolved roles. GPR35‐short mediates immune‐cell chemotaxis, while GPR35‐long is enriched in colorectal cancer epithelium, where it supports increased metabolism, proliferation, and tumor‐associated transcriptional programs.

AbstractA. Maté proposed a semantic approach of the complexity question NP ≠ co-NP: he showed that the existence of two models of Arithmetic with a particular property of extensions implied NP ≠ co-NP.We prove here the converse of his result, which yields an exact characterization of NP ≠ co-NP in terms of models of Arithmetic.

Nutrient/TOR signaling controls adipose mitochondrial transcription factor A (TFAM) to regulate organismal growth in Drosophila

Dimethyl fumarate combined with cisplatin at subcytotoxic doses sensitizes cervical cancer toward ferroptosis and apoptosis through GSH restriction and p53 (re)activation

Dimethyl fumarate (DMF) reduces growth of HPV‐positive cervical cancer spheroids and induces ferroptosis in cervical cancer cells via blocking SLC7A11/Glutathione (GSH) axis. Combination of subcytotoxic doses of DMF and cisplatin (CDDP) further suppresses spheroid growth and drives cell death in 2D culture models.
